For those of you unaware, this website was inspired by a group of people who've taken the time to do their due diligence and give a [insert expletive here] about the direction the world as a whole is heading in. These founding members have come from YT, LV, ATS, AJ's boards & RL. Some of us have been researching these varied fields for years if not decades.
With that said, I believed there was an original vision for this website (and fully realize these 'things' take on a life of their own). Coupled with our first anniversary rolling around, I thought it may be time to re-share this vision from my perspective as its the only one I'm qualified to give, barely.
Having A Louder, More Educated & Organized Voice
Although YT, LV, Veoh and the like offer a great venue to 'reach the masses', since their inception, platforms such as this one have been made available to focus our research and sharing efforts.
The original thought was to assemble those of us who were serious on YT and LV who were getting trounced on with respect to 'censorship' issues, and provide us with an open venue... a clearer more organized process than sifting through the plethora of giggly, semi-nude teen videos, mom's latest cat tricks, and who is doing what with Diet Coke and Mentos.
This platform would not only allow for the posting of video or photos, but also allow for open and live contribution via text and video chat, forums, and more. This process has allowed our group of stalwart members to get down into what is a red-herring, and what's worthy of further research in short order on numerous occasions throughout these last months.
That was the thought, or so I thought.
Time Is Precious
As our numbers have grown over the last few months, it has gotten near impossible to follow everyone's postings, let alone comment on them all. With that said, I'm growing weary of catering to people's egos and tiptoeing around others' fragile minds.
First, the forums are [insert expletive here] atrocious - a new forum thread for every conceivable article written on topical content is, imho, ridiculous let alone a bitch to source through. Let's consider a topic (such a novel label), and include related links backing our own research and conclusions rather than copying and pasting article content... or upload books rather than posting a new thread for each chapter. Keeping track of discussions becomes cumbersome to remain polite... 'which article about swine flu did I post that content to?'. Oh yes... I'm guilty too. As are some admin members. Done? Good. Let's start cleaning this [insert expletive here] up.
Second, if you've got something to say, say it. Not certain about yourselves, but I seem to be observing the acceleration of events, tactics, changes. Perhaps it's my own perception. Nevertheless, if you've got issue w/something or someone, have the [insert expletive here] and bring it up. There's no time to waste on in-fighting on who's right about when, where, why and how. State your case, back it up, and post it. It's that simple. This is what the forums were meant for to begin with. Be sure to leave ad-hominem attacks in the sandbox please as they simply don't fly here.
About Sensitive Issues - Race, Color, Creed & Religion
There has been much ado about the aforementioned societal unspeakables. As mentioned above, we broach countless 'taboo' topics and delve into them at length - some current events and some historical and some exploring future outcomes for our species and others.
In exploring these topics, the issue of race or color or religion will crop up - there have been posts about the Zionist banking, energy and media cartels, there have been posts about the Black Panthers during the FBI CoIntelPro era (which technically never ended), and I know I for one have posted controversial material questioning the validity of mainstream religion.
This is simply information. What you do or don't do with it is your perogative. Attacking me or anyone else personally is predictable - check out the Kubler-Ross cycle - but it won't get anyone anywhere fast. There's a reason it evokes emotion - beyond infringing on societal constructs some of us still desperately cling to.
However, delivery IS important - making unsubstantiated claims with the intent to stir up anger or hatred and insinuating an entire ethnic group is the same is much like me stating ALL Scotsmen are drunken bagpipers or ALL Germans are Nazis or ALL Japanese are corporate spies or ALL Roman Catholic priests diddle little boys - this kind of childish nonsense simply won't be tolerated for long, if at all. If you think we haven't explored much of this topic matter, you're likely in for a surprise.
If anyone attempts to deride our community from its purpose, they'll likely be in for a greater surprise - the members of our core group here have known each other for a few years now and its membership has grown over the last year even more. I'd even hazard to say we're what one might call a tight-knit group.
Time To Get A Grip
It's been brought to my attention several truther sites have been infiltrated by 'moles' - people intent on derailing the truth movements as they've tried on more mainstream sites such as YT and, to a lesser degree, LV. I pity the fool who tries to do so here for they haven't a clue with respect to the nature of the hornets' nest they've stumbled into.
With that said, I'd like to bring to our attention any noticeable derision especially from new or recent accounts. Take them for what they're worth. Don't internalize ad-hominem attacks from some newbie. Most of us have known each other too long to let some mindless disinfo agent try to derail what we've built together here.
So, time to get a grip - don't give these agents provocateurs even a glimmer of hope in busting us up. Ignore or ridicule their narrow vision. Got it? Good! Keep it!
Thank You For Your Help
To those of you who've worked your proverbial [insert expletive here] off over the months, thank you and hats off to you on contributing what seems like an endless flow of information, 'controversial' or otherwise.
Several folk have emailed me, thankful our site is here providing a concentrate of information unlike most anything else available on the web. Kudos to all of us for helping. Without you, this site would be an empty skeleton - know this and own it.
Also, for those unaware, we've added a new admin to the pool - MainLineAdrenaline - who has become an invaluable asset to the community given the sheer volume of content researched and posted as well as his 'ever-presence' in chat ready to help those in need. Thanks A.F.! Appreciated!
In closing, understand this is an open letter to the community and your constructive opinions and feedback are,... well,... expected.
PS: I reserve the right to edit this post to my heart's content.
