How To Create Multi-Series Vid Links

As some of you have shown an interest in how to link vids in a multi-series, here is a quick tutorial on getting the links you need and to wrap text to create a link.

Let's say we have a 3 part vid - parts 1, 2 and 3 of 3 vids in total.

FIRST - GETTING THE LINK

We want to put a link from our first video to our second video in the description to make it easier for others to follow the series without having to hunt and peck.

There are two easy ways to get the link:

• Visit the page with part 2 on it and copy the address in your browser's address bar, or
• Right-click on part 2's link and select Copy Link Location (in FF) or Copy Shortcut (in IE)

You now have the page's address in memory.

SECOND - CREATING THE LINK

You could quite easily paste that link directly into your part 1 description, and you are done.

But, addresses can be long, messy and non-descriptive. So, we can easily enough create a good descriptive link by just taking a couple of extra steps.

Let's say that address just copied is http://www.-i-openers.net/videos/my-video-part-2, and I want to create a link called 'Watch Part 2 Here!'

The following HTML code ...

<a href="http://www.-i-openers.net/videos/my-video-part-2">Watch Part 2 Here</a>

... would create this link ...

Watch Part 2 Here!

... and for a link in part 2's description to part 3 ...


<a href="http://www.-i-openers.net/videos/my-video-part-3">Watch Part 3 Here</a>

... would create this link ...

Watch Part 3 Here!
